The Lithuanian photography project “Collections. From typological research to collecting mania” will be opened June 28th, 2018 in Tel Aviv (Israel). On the opening day the catalog of the exhibition will be launched, as well as a guided tour with artist will be held. The exhibition will last till the 28th of July.

The evaluation process of the competition-exhibition „Debut 2018“ is over. We are really greatful to all entrants for sharing their inspiring work! There were 342 submissions for this year competition. Thank you jury for great input in selecting the shortlist! It was hard work to choose just 10 of you. This year, after long discussion, there were 11 artist selected. It was no way out since to participants collected the same amount of votes and the same amount of jury members were voting for them.
Self Publish Riga photobook dummy contest

SELF PUBLISH RIGA, a series of events dedicated to photobooks and selfpublishing, recently announced the third edition of the SELF PUBLISH RIGA photobook dummy contest, this year having teamed up with Kaunas Gallery and printing house KOPA to publish the winning dummy. Kaunas Photography Gallery will take over the costs of distribution, materials and marketing, whilst printing house KOPA will take over the costs of printing and binding services and Antalis will provide the paper. To take part in one of the central events of Riga Photomonth 2018, submit your photobook dummy by 30 April.
Open call for young photographers from Central/South-East Europe

Different Worlds – 5th international open call for young and promising artists in the field of contemporary art photography organized by Photon Gallery – Centre for Contemporary Photography from Ljubljana. The first prize is € 1,000 for the production and solo exhibition at Photon Gallery. The selected ten artists will present their work at the group exhibition in Ljubljana, Vienna and elsewhere!
The Classics of Lithuanian and Latvian Photography in Prague

On the 13th of September the opening of the photography exhibition The Best of Lithuanian Photographers and Gunars Binde will take place at Prague’s Old Town Hall, in Cloisters and Knights’ Hall. Visitors will have the opportunity to see the exhibition in a very heart of Prague’s Old Town till the 9th of October.

"Vilnius photography gallery" is going to exhibit photography project „Grandchildren, garments, grandparents” created by Justina Christauskaitė. This project is a result of several years’ artistic-social researches. During this project 192 people was photographed, met and chatted with, from more than 40 Lithuanian locations in cities and villages.
