Open Call for visual artists to exhibit at The Finnish Museum of Photography

Finnish Museum of Photography is delighted to announce an international Open Call for submissions from artists who use analog processes in the creation of contemporary photographic works. Out of these submissions, a jury will select 10 artists to exhibit at the Museum during the Helsinki Darkroom Festival from January to April, 2022. The purpose of this inclusive, forward-looking festival is to bring together various institutions, researchers and artists working with analog photography.

KAUNAS PHOTO, the longest-running annual photographic festival in the Baltic States, based in Kaunas, is a platform of premieres of emerging talents. “Photo World” (China) titled KAUNAS PHOTO as a festival on crossroads of European photography. The current objective is to become a friendly festival to its audience as well as to the participating artists.

The PHOTO 2020 Festival in Melbourne, where the final jury meeting for the 2020 Dummy Award was planned, has been postponed to March 2021. The jury meetings (Shortlist and Final Jury) for the 2020 Kassel Dummy Award will be postponed also to late Summer or Fall. The deadline for registrations will be the 17th June.

Athens Photo Festival 2020 is accepting submissions from artists and photographers for its exhibition program. The selected works will be exhibited at the Benaki Museum / Pireos 138, one of the most prestigious museums in Greece. The Festival will feature the work of emerging and established artists from all over the world, with the aim to reflect the diversity of photography and visual culture today.
