The artist will talk about his book “Observation. Typology of Cause” (“Stebėjimas. Priežasties tipologija”). His art projects reflect historical and social scenes and problems that he conveys through abstract images to awaken the audience’s imagination and seek to establish feedback through interpretations and conceptual thinking. Odnoviun‘s artworks, much like traces, reveal the limits of human perception, but also the limit where the consequences of human action meet causality.

Valentyn Odnoviun is a Ukrainian living and working in Lithuania. He has graduated from the Vilnius Academy of Arts with a Master's degree from the departments of Photography and Media Arts and Fine Art Studies. He is currently working on his doctoral thesis on Eastern European photography at the Lithuanian Culture Research Institute. In recent years, Odnoviun has participated in international exhibitions and has been awarded the highest honours at various festivals in Europe, America and New Zealand.
