Women at Work: between representative images and authentic experiences

The invisibility of work, which is important for survival and daily life and, at the same time, moves one forwards, is determined by its human scale and detachment from expansive ambitions. It is this aspect that emerges in the artist's work as one of the essential features of a woman's work, which will also be developed in a new publication.

Gintarė Krasuckaitė is the curator of the exhibition and residency programme at Kaunas Photography Gallery, as well as working with educational activities for various audiences. She is currently co-creating a publication on women's work in cooperation with Cale Garrido (Spain).
