Darkness and the blackness associated therewith have inspired me for a long time, as something indefinite and as a source of creative; approaching it via disappearance; boundaries of representation - these are the problems I am focused on. Perception processes triggered at the recipient by inability to recognize images. The non-obvious. Activation of undiscovered access pathways to the representations stored in memory. I will present works born out of this long-time fascination and some problems related to the search for the limits of visibility, imperfections of visions, distortions in the perception of the image, as well as issues such as the impact of dynamic light on the space of the image and the resulting phenomena (illusions of movement, afterimages).
