Nida OFF

It is an alternative / complementary event bordering NIDA 2018 seminar organised by the Lithuanian Photographers Association. We invite all the amateur or professional photographers to apply their works as an alternative to the main NIDA 2018 seminars contest. 
Nida OFF is open for any kinds of genres, techniques or subjects of your work. You can send your photographs via wetransfer.com to nidaoff@gmail.com. Photographers whose works have been chosen as finalists will be notified by email of their success and will get a free pass to Photo Nida 2018 events and seminars.

You can apply from 5 to 12 original works as single images or as the series. All images sent to contest must be an original work, completed and owned by the submitting photographer. Any photographs that are watermarked will not be accepted.

When applying for competition in the subject of your email type: NIDAOFF YOUR FULL NAME; NAME OF PROJECT(S); DATE OF CREATION. 
Sample : NIDAOFF JOHN SMITH; LIFE IS BORING; 2017. 
Also don’t forget to put the same information in the titles of the files / folders you’re submitting for review. If there are only single photos, write the name of each in a additional letter (if necessary).

All photos must be no longer than 2400px on a long side, RGB colours, JPEG quality no less than 90%. Write down your name and name of a picture in a file name. For example: 01.JohnSmithLifeIsBoring2017.jpeg

ALL PHOTOS MUST BE SENT TILL 1ST OF SEPTEMBER.

In a additional letter you must write :

· Name of a project or names of all single photos;
· description of the project;
· a few words about yourself;
· your contacts (email, phone number);
· are you attending NIDA OFF in personal (YES / NO).

Event will take place at “ZUIKIO DARZAS” , NIDA (Nidos-Smiltynes pl. 7a)

PROGRAM

1. Presentation of selected works and introducing to the authors.
2. Selected works of contemporary photographers by Tomas Terekas from his personal blog “The Trickster”.
3. Announcing public prize winners of the competition.
4. Poetic / musical performance by “Vaibai Ore”.
