(Un)ethics in Photography

In his presentation, Vilius Dranseika will discuss ethical issues in photography. What – and why - do photographers themselves, from photojournalists to nature photographers, consider unethical practices?

Vilius Dranseika (Jagiellonian University, Krakow) is a philosopher dealing with issues of memory, personal identity and applied ethics. He defended his doctorate in philosophy at the Center for the Philosophy of Memory at the University of Grenoble, France. He has published more than fifty scientific articles in journals of philosophy, bioethics, psychology and cognitive sciences. The list of publications can be found at www.dranseika.lt.
