In her artist talk “never more in reality” she will talk about the actual reality and present her artistic practice.

Brigita Kasperaitė (b. 1991, Kaunas) lives and works in Germany and Lithuania. Her work consists of various means of expression, ranging from text, photography and video works to performative actions and installations. She has successfully completed her BA and MA studies at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, and has had internships at the Royal Institute of Art, Stockholm (SE), Accademia di Belli Arti in Naples (IT), and Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig (DE). Among many exhibitions, her work has been presented at the art festival ars electronica in 2020 and 2021, at the Museum der Bildende Künste Leipzig (DE), at the ZKU/Berlin (DE), and in Sweden, Italy, and Lithuania. She has also participated in artist residencies in Berlin, Leipzig, and at the Citè Internationale des Arts in Paris. She is co-curator of the a&o Kunsthalle (Leipzig) gallery and curator of the Start.foundation residency.
