OPEN CALL: photo contest Debut '16

Union of Lithuanian art photography announces selection of photographs for contest Debut ’16. We invite Lithuanians living in country and abroad to participate. You are expected to submit from 3 to 15 black and white or colorful photographs which are taken not earlier than 2012 (preferably photo cycle or series).
Titles choices are free. Photographs cannot be published or exhibited before (some of the photographs can be published separately).
Winner of the contest or winners group will be given a possibility to have their own exhibition in Union of Lithuanian Photography gallery in 2017.
Terms and requirements of contest Debut’16:
Age from 16
Not allowed to participate:
-Union of Lithuanian art photography members
-People who have artist status
-Authors who have participated in Debut’10, Debut’12, Debut’14 and finalists (precisely, those who were published and exhibited)
Those participants who weren’t finalists in previous contests are allowed to participate, but with new or renewed material.
You can submit from 3 to 15 black and white or colorful photographs which are taken not earlier than 2012. For selection we accept only digital format photographs.
When you submit photographs you have to make a separate file in which you have to (name_surname.doc) write:
- authors name, surname
- e. post and home address, telephone number to reach the author
- a list with date and title of photographs
By submitting their works participants of the contest takes the responsibility for authorization. Authors also have to guarantee that they own property and intellectual rights of their work.
For exhibition and publication participants can use their pseudonyms
The organizers keep the rights to use received photographs and their digital version in publication of contest an in electronic version.

Requirements for digital files:
2500 px – minimal side length
4000 px – maximal side length
5000 kB (5 MB) – maximal size of digital file
