ISSP Riga Residency is open for applications
ISSP Riga Residency is open for applications for the period January – June 2022 (as well as one spot for December 2021).
The Residency is aimed at photographers, artists and curators working with photography and provides an opportunity for focused work on a personal project in Riga and its surroundings while exploring the local cultural scene. Participatory art projects are particularly welcome. Thanks to our cooperation with kuš!, the residency also hosts comics artists and illustrators. Duration of stay can be anywhere between 1–3 months, but longer stays are preferred. Please note that this time we will still be hosting mostly artists from Europe.
NB! In 2022, two selected artists from a Nordic or Baltic country will be awarded a Nordic Culture Point scholarship, that includes 500 EUR stipend, free of charge residency stay, and covered travel costs to Riga.
Deadline for application: October 24, 2021.
