In the spring of 2022, a forgotten photographic treasure was discovered in Lithuania – 840 negatives that had been hidden in the museum archives for more than eighty years. The documentary tells the story of the persistent museum researchers, whose patience and stubbornness resurrect the past, leading us through the labyrinths of the archives, where each answer raises a new questions. It is a journey to the times when wooden houses still stood in Kaunas, and the slopes of Žaliakalnis resembled a favela slum. Photographer Antanas Ingelevičius captured the city, its people and everyday life, performances of the first Lithuanian theater and moments of Kaunas bohemian life.
