WHAT WAS LOST IN TIME
Documentation of Lithuania's postwar aviation history and a tribute to its pioneers and their contributions to the field.

I'm a Lithuanian mixed media artist and photographer, raised in an artistic family, I developed a passion for art early on, leading me to study Applied Graphic at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. There, I discovered my love for photography, particularly documentary and candid styles. My interest deepened during an Erasmus exchange in Porto in 2022, where I explored film photography.
Returning to Lithuania, I focused on documentary photography, overcoming my fear of photographing strangers and embracing black & white film, for its depth and emotion. Inspired by this journey, I started a documentary book titled "Out of My Roots," a project exploring happiness among different nationalities in Lithuania.
Following its success, I delved into Lithuania's aviation history, collaborating with the Lithuanian Museum of Aviation to document heritage that is no longer existent or forgotten. Through my art, infused with nostalgia, I aim to preserve Lithuania's stories and evoke memories, emphasising the importance of heritage preservation for future generations.
