
V.Luckus (1943 - 1987) debuted in photography stage at the end of the sixth decade of 20th century and fixed in there together with photographers' generation, which formed so called "Lithuanian photography school". But soon V. Luckus found out individual way of creation. The author traveled a lot ant seeked some kind of spontaneity in photography, that let dissociate from cliches of photography of those times ant to record the moments of real life.
"In White Background" is the last series of Vitas Luckus, which he began in 1986. The author fixated people, who were met in some market, near the white background. According to the author, those photos show that clothes and different accessories can say a lot about person's character. It seems that V. Luckus forecasted one of the most significant tendencies of modern photography.
