June 16th, 2010 there will be opening and award ceremony of the photographic competition "Lithuanian army in photography 2009 - 2010" in the gallery "Prospektas" (Gedimino pr. 43). In the ceremony will be present the Minister of defence Rasa Juknevičienė and the head of army general major Arvydas Pocius.
In the competition participated 63 professional and amateur photographers from Lithuania. In year 2009-2010 they reflected four topics: "Portrait", "Professionalism", "Memory", "Reportage". Winners will be awarded with prices from ministry.
