Garik Avanesian was born in 1959. he started to photograph in 1987. First pictures of him were portraits of pesants from Mountain Karabach. After earthquake in Leninakan and genocide in Sumgajite he leaves Azerbaijan and moves to Prague. He becomes an active participant of Czech photographic life, participant of different competitions and salons. in 2006 he starts to release photomagazine PHOTOART.
