The project is dedicated to rarely attended expositional spaces. This is a solo performance of art work for an empty photo gallery. The choice of space was determined by the media of work - photo slides show.

The origin of work was determined by the unexpected event in one of the most popular tourist cities, where the whole visual material accumulated during the travel period was lost. Thanks to the popularity of the city it was possible “to retrieve” this material in pictures taken by other people. The images, perpetuated by the people who were in the same city at the same time, selected from the virtual tanks of images, create fictitious reminiscences. As images of digital photography are easily multiplied and repeated, they are perpetuated on the slides – photographs of past in media.
Designing the incessant images in an empty space, slides projector questions the concept of space, easy submission of mind for modifications. The title of exhibition - “Solo for the photo gallery”- also decides absence of the opening - it is a closed relation of space and creation.

The Gallery is open daily, except Sunday, from 10 am till 7 pm. Saturday - from 10 am till 3 pm.
