In each person’s or in a group of persons’ life, there comes a moment when a lot of photographs have been assembled “to recollect” (as a confirmation of participation in this touching life on the Earth) and then these photographs ask for a summarization. With such an idea, for several years, the young students from the Youth Photography Studio at the Centre of Creative Learning "Annas 2" worked at the Photography Project “ZZZ”. It was developed as an extended group’s self-portrait, as a memory album of the time spent together.
With piety for the elapsing time, the authors have ‘immortalized’ themselves, thus, visually and demonstratively becoming a part of the self-created history (game), by this testifying directly and documentary (and to a certain degree coquettish) their own presence in the feast of life.
“ZZZ” outplays the aesthetics of an imaginary film still. It is a play with unreality and with ”reality” of such a film still.
A photographer usually is off-screen. The Photography Studio students have tried to overcome this doom by themselves becoming the actors, directors and cameramen.
