On the 23rd of January 2008 at 4pm Arturas Valiauga presents the photo exhibition “Identity. Between history and future: Caraite from Trakai and Daniliskes village”.

In this long term project the photographer tries to tell the story about historical communities of Caraites in Trakai and old stile believers from Daniliskes village. A. Valiauga has been working with the theme of ethnical minorities in Lithuania for some time already. This exhibition is only a small part of major project which is devoted to the historical communities like Caraite, Tartar, Jewish,  Lithuanian Gypsies, Polish, Russians, Ukrainian and Byelorussians. 

The exhibition runs till the 3rd of February 2008.
