From 13th till 30th of April at Prospekto gallery runs the photography exhibition "Czech press photo 2006"

Czech Press Photo 2006 is the 12th annual photographic competition presenting an independent visual testimony of the life and the world we live in.

The aim of the competition is to help the public to witness important events of the previous year as seen by photographers living in Czech and Slovak Republics. The contest and exhibition are annual. The international jury of experts changes every year. Czech Press Photo supports interests in photojournalism as a means of better understanding and the sharing of knowledge among people. Czech press photo 2003 presents photographs selected from a total of 3110 submitted images from 229 photographers.
