From the 7 to 25 of February, 2006 Vilnius Photography gallery presents two photographers
Vitoldas  Vilpišauskas and Vitas Karčiauskas at the exhibition "Mystic of the city".
Both photographers have a passion to document Vilnius.
The city is the only one and basic theme.  In the exhibition one won't find the everyday life of the citizens,
both photographers are devoted to specifics of architectural landscape of the capital.

V. Karčiauskas professionally involved with preservation of architectural heritage,
therefore his  photographs are closely related to the specifics of the old town.
The artist is inspired by old buildings, narrow streets or towers of the churches.

But Vitoldas Vilpišauskas being an architect is more interested in modern Vilnius.
He emphasizes the minimalist form and architectural plane in the composition of the photographs.
